Sorry for the long waiting. I was busy with lot of stuffs recently and the development process was drag down by Opera and Google Chrome web browser for many days due to the sound problem. I only manage to fix the Opera but not Google Chrome. But I plan to release it without one new feature for Google Chrome because I really drag for too long already. Sorry Google Chrome fans!
One of the big changes you will notice in this release is you can now set the script setting inside the game! So now you don’t need to learn how to set them by using notepad or what so ever. Be warn that those setting is not permanent if you just change it in the game, the script use temporary storage to store those setting only. In case if you delete all browser storage and cache, the setting will go away and back to what had been written in the script. So remember to change back the setting when you delete all browser storage and cache.
Lot of players keep on asking me how to play music from local drive. The answer will always “You can’t because the script can’t”. The script just can’t access to the file system because of security reason. But don’t be so sad, now I embed the whole music in the script and it will now play directly without any streaming! Of course, the script size is bigger than before now because of the music data, but it will save your a lot of bandwidth later on. Too bad this feature only apply for Opera and Firefox web browser, Google Chrome will still stream the music for this version. Oh ya, I use some hex encoding on the music, so it is impossible for other to change the music unless you know how to modify midi sound to hex encoding.
Another thing you might be notice is when you manually click on the horn, the script is now smart enough to know that you had press the horn and it will now start re-calculating the time. Thanks to some players told me the bug that the time is actually not correct if they press the horn manually. For other change, just read the change log at the bottom.
Some time I really wonder why I need to fix all those bugs left by the MouseHunt developer especially on Google Chrome web browser (check out the version 1.20 and 1.21 change log). Ha, maybe I should drop them an e-mail saying your game need me because I’m helping you all the patch it. But wait, they hate me so much right because I developing a bot for the game! Well, who care to tell them anyway, I fix that because the player request me to do so.
Oh ya, lot of Firefox users told me that there are memory leak in the script in Firefox 5.0. I don’t really experience that, and I can’t really figure out is the game problem or the script problem also. So if you are a Firefox user, mind to tell me if you got this kind of problem or not? Running with script or without script in the game? Thanks.

I have a problem using the scrip, I used to run 3 browsers at the same time with my nephews, mine and my brothers accounts and everything was fine until the problem with the wrong time with chrome and now when using chrome The scrip sounds the horn once an hour for example the page shows the horn and the last horn sound was 40 minutes ago and the scrip shows that is 2 minutes until the next hunt and chrome runs a little slow now after updating Firefox to version 4,5 and reinstalling version 3.etc uses huge amounts of memory I tried different versions of the scrip, grease monkey and Firefox but still use is huge like 800 mb and decreases after closing the MH page.

how about playing MH with firefox without the script?

I disabled the scrip and no extra memory was used but as soon I enable it the memory consumption started to rise and firefox becomes slow and then I disabled the scrip and refreshed the page and the memory slowly normalized and in chrome the scrip timer runs slower than the page timer.

Hi,
Perhaps you could make an option to sound the horn once or twice every hour.
Mousehunt only requires a player to sound the horn once every hour to be taken on hunts by their friends. For me, I don’t need to be sound the horn every 15mins or so as I have a lot of mousehunt friends. Sounding the horn once every hour will suffice, so perhaps a “relaxed” mode?

But that will still trigger king’s reward right?

Eventually yes but it will give an appearance of a more human effort in playing the game. Sounding the horn every 15 mins or so versus once an hour.

Hey, ooiks, there is a problem with my bot on http://www.mousehuntgame.com , where 4 bots appear on the screen, sounding the horn at the same time. This is very obvious botting! Could you fix it?

Sorry, what do you mean 4 bots appear on the screen?

I think you forget to disable 3 of your current bots.. Go to your tools> Add-ons> User Scripts > then disable 3 of your older version bots..

I don’t know whether it’s my own problem or the script’s fault, but when I load up http://www.mousehuntgame.com , I frequently see 4 mousehunt windows embedded into the same page. One main one, 2 where ads should be and 1 and the bottom. Could you check this out?

You probably have other version of Mousehunt Autobot which didn’t get uninstalled when you install the new one.

Without the scrip Firefox uses the normal memory but I opened the task bar and check how long it takes for firefox to use 700 of memory with the scrip and it takes around 7 or about 100mb per min. I noticed that every time the scrip refreshes the memory usage increases fast by 4-10-20 mb every second I recorded a video in case you want to see it but I don’t want to post the link here.

I do notice with script, the memory usage increase faster than normal. Will be fixing that in next release but MH game itself also got some minor memory leak, so even with new script, memory leak problem cannot totally prevent.

about the memory leak, i encounter it as well. i googled and i think you can easily solve the problem by doing the followings. (taken from other site)
Multiple sessionstore.js files
If Firefox is slow to respond or appears to hang, open the Firefox profile folder, check for multiple sessionstore.js files and delete all copies found. [38] See Multiple profile files created for details.
hope this helps.
my firefox goes back to normal after i deleted all the js.
