The Opera Turbo must be running. It will compress some image and save at the server, so it save more bandwidth to get the image thus faster. Very useful for slow network connection, but something will be very problematic also.
To disable the Turbo , go to status bar, there is a Turbo icon (got 3 icons on the bottom left, the most right handside one), set disable.
